CodeStart is a two-week training program, where young people aged 18 to 29, of all academic backgrounds, learn how to develop web pages and how to create a mobile game, while gaining insights on the importance of digital skills for their future studies as well as their future professional career.

Learn how to create a HTML & CSS simple website

Create websites from graphical mockups using HTML/CSS in compliance with standards and good practices. 

Concepts covered:

  • Flexbox
  • HTML Syntax and CSS definitions
  • Positioning
  • Selectors
  • Typographic formatting

Lean the basics of
Javascript language

Create a game and learn how to add interactive features to a page coded in HTML.

Concepts covered:

  • Basic operation: variables, operators, conditions, loops, functions
  • Eventloop
  • HTML Syntax and CSS definitions
  • Reading and manipulation of the DOM

2 weeks initiation program

CodeStart brings together young adults for a two-week developer training that gives them an insider look into the field. By the end of the course, they will have learned the basics of HTML, CSS & Javascript, launched a personal website & developed a web browser game.

Along the way, these groups of 18-29-year-olds grasp digital skills with new depth, preparing them as they determine their future studies & career paths.

Learn the basics of web devlopment. Make your own web page and develop an interactive game.

Use markup and styling to structure content and design the layout and appearance of web pages.
